New Fortnite update adds weapons, smoke grenades, and two more leaderboards
Fortnite‘s halloween event is finally over and now that everyone has had their fill of free legendary heroes and weapons it’s time to go back to basics. Mutant Storms have been re-introduced into the main game in patch v1.9.1 and players are now able to procure Storm Tickets once again and, with them, the chance to get 9 snazzy, high-tech weapons to bust up husks with.
Over in Battle Royale Mode players can look forward to using the new smoke grenade which obscures player vision and offers a new level of utility within the game.
Epic has also introduced two new leaderboards:
- Global Wins
A global leaderboard spotlighting the top 50 players for the selected match type. Measured by wins. - Score
Measured by the amount of total experience gained.
All in all it looks like, as time goes by, Fortnite looks to be getting better and better.
